The funds donated through The 9th Floor Foundation got directly Memorial Sloan Kettering's (MSK) Family Assistance Fund which is outlined below:

• Medical Financial Assistance: MSK uses program funds to reduce or completely forgive MSK medical bills. Many families, even those with existing insurance, face high out-of-pocket costs due to deductibles, co-payments, and uncovered services or medications.
• Non-Medical Financial Assistance: The financial burden of a cancer diagnosis isn’t limited to the cost of treatment. The Social Work Patient Fund can help families with nonmedical expenses like living expenses,  food, transportation, and childcare. Typically, this is a one-time gift for a family to meet a specific and urgent need.
